REGULATIONS XI MARATÓN ALPINO MADRILEÑO
Important advices
Will take place next 17st June, 2007 at 8.00 a.m.,
with start and arrival in Cercedilla (Madrid-Spain),
included in the Federation for Sports at Altitude (FSA) and
in the Mountaniering Madrilian federation (FMM).
1.
The race is
approximately 42,195 km in the central part of the
Sierra de Guadarrama (Madrid) acumulating a slope (positive
and negative) of about 4.700 meters.
2.
Anyone that
wishes can enter this race, up to a maximum of 300
runners for rigorous order of inscription, over 18 years
old (the day of the race).
3.
CATEGORIES
(years-old on the day of the race):
- Júnior (male and female) 18
to 21 years old
- Senior male 22
to 39 years old
- Senior female 22
to 34 years old
- Veterans A (male) 40
to 49 years old
- Veterans A (female) 35
to 44 years old
- Veterans B (male) 50

- Veterans B (female) 45
upwards

12. Payment of inscription will be done when collecting the
bibs to run. Inscriptions out of date not be admitted.
5.
PRICE:
to confirm.
6.
SIGNALS AND
CONTROLS:
The route will be properly marked with a bright color
plastic band, being mandatory to pass averyone of the
stablished controls. Some of the controls will be have a km
reference.
7.
TIMES LIMIT:
All the participants that exceed 3h20 at the first control
for Puerto de Cotos or 5h50 at he second control for Puerto
de Cotos will have to leave the race, as neither the
organization nor medical assistance can guarantee to cover
them. Drops out must be advised to the nearest control.
8.
PROVISIONING:
There will be 9 liquid provisioning points, natural water
springs on the way and 4 solid provisioning points, plus the
one at the arrival point (see
map).
9.
PRIZES:
Exclisve tropheo of stone (250 €) and many others presents
for first male and female. Tropheos and gifts for the first
3 men and women to reach the finish line and for each
category.
10.
Anyone that
does not fulfil these rules, complete the total circuit,
damages or litters the enviroment, does not wear the number
bib visible or does not take any notice of the organization
indications, will be disqualified.
11.
The
organization reserves the right to do any modification that
may consider necessary depending on the different
conditions.
12.
Every
participant is obliged to help anyone that may have an
accident if requests his help and will have to observe
circulation rules when crossing the roads.
13.
The
organization declines all responsability in case of accident
and any objects that the participant may carry. They will be
responsability far any damage caused to themselves or third
parties. |
